About Wade Hancock
During the course of a routine home purchase, Wade’s mother contracted the services of a professional home inspector recommended by a real estate agent. The inspector’s report informed his mother of 11 problem items. After closing, Wade visited his mother in her new home and found 14 problem items on the front porch alone. His mom was initially satisfied with the inspector’s performance, but she soon learned a much more thorough job could have been done. This is, sadly, a common occurrence.

With over 20 years of commercial design, industrial design and construction experience behind him, Wade decided to provide an alternative to the status quo, and Hancock Consulting & Inspections, PLLC was born.

While working for various engineering firms during his career, Wade’s commercial/ industrial design portfolio of clients include AT&T, Verizon, Sprint, Department of Defense, NASA and many others. A steadfast commitment to quality propelled Wade to high levels of responsibility within several of these companies. You can imagine the attention to detail required by NASA.

After deciding to include the residential market into his service offerings, true to form, Wade didn’t take the easy route.
Completing over 440 hours of instruction and earning thirteen (13) certifications from Texas State University, Wade passed the State Professional Inspector exam on his first attempt.

Married in 1995, Wade and Lisa Hancock make a good team. They work together to ensure their clients receive the highest level of service. They moved to New Braunfels 2001 and are active in their community and church. They have four children and have focused on teaching each one to be honest, kind, and to serve those around them.
Wade believes Hancock Consulting & Inspections provides his clients with the best opportunity to obtain a complete and accurate vision about the condition of their property. Wade will perform the same level of inspection for you as he would for his own mom.
